New Beginnings Radiation Mark & Brand Tattoo Removal

Welcome to the New Beginnings Tattoo Removal Program, a national philanthropic campaign offering free radiation mark and sex trafficking tattoo removal for survivors.

ASLMS members have volunteered to remove radiation marks and sex trafficking tattoos free of charge for survivors so they can have the new beginning they deserve.

To find a participating physician nearest you, click on the link below to learn more about the program you are interested in and access the provider directory or you can read the disclaimer below and click the appropriate directory button. You can then browse the locator service to find participating physicians in your area.

While the ASLMS New Beginnings Tattoo Removal provider directories list only board-certified physician members, non-physicians can be involved in the program through their practice if their physician qualifies and has agreed to be listed on the provider directory.*

*ASLMS relies on the overseeing physician to understand their local laws and ensure that the medical professional is appropriately licensed to perform the procedures.

ASLMS is excited to announce a new partnership with CeraVe to expand the provider network and support for the New Beginnings program. Through the newly created CeraVe Fresh Start Scholarship Fund, providers will be able to apply for funding to offset the operational costs to provide pro bono tattoo removal to trafficking survivor patients. Radiation Mark Removal

Patients who wish to take advantage of this special offering must simply contact the nearest participating physician to schedule a consultation. We’ve created an easy-to-use locator service to help you do just that.

Patients must provide the physician with an official letter from their oncologist or radiologist approving the removal of any radiation marks (tattoos).

This free service is open to all cancer patients and is not limited to breast cancer or lymphoma survivors. The program is offered year-round. Learn more

Branding Tattoo Removal

This pro bono service is open to all survivors of sex trafficking with branding tattoos. Patients must have completed or be actively participating in a rehabilitation program or recovery support group affiliated with Atlas Free.

Patients are required to provide documentation from their case manager stating they are sex trafficking survivors at a safe and appropriate stage of recovery to undergo tattoo removal. The program is offered year-round. Learn more
